Nine weekend camps across the country give kids with cancer and their families a chance to reconnect, at no cost.
KALAMAZOO, MI, UNITED STATES, August 25, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — This fall, Camp Quality USA is opening the doors of its Fall Family Camp program to families across the country, offering a no-cost weekend away for children with cancer and the people who love them most.
From September through November, Camp Quality will host nine Fall Family Camps in nine states, welcoming children with cancer ages 0 to 17, whether in treatment or in remission, along with their parents, guardians, brothers, and sisters. Each camp is a full weekend of meals, activities, and connection, and every one of them is completely free for the families who attend.
For families navigating a child’s cancer diagnosis, ordinary time together can be hard to come by. Appointments, treatments, and the weight of it all leave little room for the simple stuff: a campfire, a canoe, a weekend where nobody has to be brave. Camp Quality’s Family Camps are built to give that time back.

Our camps are inclusive and built for all abilities, with activities that adapt to every energy level and physical need, so a child in the middle of treatment and a sibling who has spent months in waiting rooms both have a place. The 2026 Fall Family Camp program is sponsored by Sun Outdoors, a division of Sun Communities, Inc.

Families can apply now
Applications for the 2026 Fall Family Camps are open now. Families interested in attending can learn more and apply at campqualityusa.org/camp-locations/family-camp-26. Because space is limited, families who apply are placed on a waitlist and contacted directly if a spot becomes available. Not every family who applies will be able to attend, and every family will be notified either way.
