Oratomic Raises $775 Million in Total Funding to Build Utility-Scale Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computers

PASADENA, Calif., Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Oratomic, whose mission is to build the first fault-tolerant quantum computers, announced today that it has raised a total of $775 million since its launch in March 2026. The company will use the funds to accelerate the development of utility-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers.

ARCH Venture Partners, Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, Index Ventures, General Catalyst, and Bezos Expeditions led the financing.

Oratomic is building quantum computers based on reconfigurable arrays of neutral atoms and advanced quantum error correction. The company is focused exclusively on building a fault-tolerant quantum computer.

The new funding will support the continued growth of Oratomic’s scientific and engineering team, laboratory infrastructure, and the systems required to build its quantum computers.
