Horizon Church Tucson Announces Community Craft Gatherings and Overnight September Women’s Retreat

Horizon Church Tucson, a non-denominational Christian church in Tucson, AZ, is offering two upcoming opportunities for community members to gather, connect, and enjoy time with others this season. From a recurring Saturday morning craft event open to the public to an overnight Women’s Retreat in September, the church is extending an open invitation to anyone looking for a welcoming place to belong.

Craft Days at Continental Ranch Community Park

Every second Saturday of the month, Horizon Church Tucson hosts Craft Days at the Continental Ranch Community Park, 8900 N Coachline Blvd, Ramada #1. The event runs from 8 to 10 AM and is open to anyone who wants to come.

Whether you enjoy crafting regularly or are simply looking for a relaxed Saturday morning out, Craft Days is a low-pressure way to spend time with friendly people in a comfortable outdoor setting. No registration is needed. Just show up and bring a neighbor.

Women’s Retreat: September 26 and 27

The Horizon Church Tucson Women’s Ministry is hosting a two-day retreat on September 26 and 27 at the Sheraton Hotel Grant/Rosemont. Registration is $175 per person for a shared room of four.

The retreat is an opportunity for women to step away from the routine, rest, and spend intentional time connecting with others in faith. Attendees are encouraged to bring their friends, family members, and neighbors along for the weekend.

Community Is at the Heart of What Horizon Does

“At Horizon Church, we believe community happens best when people are together, not just on Sundays,” said Pastor Lee Giermann. “Whether someone joins us for a Saturday morning at the park or comes along for our Women’s Retreat, we want everyone in Tucson to feel welcome here.”
